Mookie  Pronounced “moo-key” (or like cookie with an m and a strong Scottish accent) are a new breed of superheroes that can morph at will. They were originally put on this earth to save marriages, beleaguered mothers, corporate admin staff or anyone else for that matter from the age old question: “What should I get?”

Overview
There are two types of mookies; the edgy dark gingery kind (with a bit of bite) that looks good in casual wear or can be drop dead gorgeous dressed to the nines depending on the occasion. The other is sweet and delicate and loves the warmer climes of spring and summer but will make an appearance at other times if requested. This one is fair and loves to butter everyone up. (Psst, I heard a third type is coming just around the corner).

Their main diet is organic spelt flour. The different types of mookies like various other things (for instance some like molasses and ginger, while others like lemon oil) but they all love spelt flour.

Origin
Mookies are all trained in the art of disguise. Not only can they morph to various shapes, their costume selection is limitless. They belong to the house of Jinja Ninja. Born in Canada, mookies have their roots in Japan. They love to travel and dream of going across North America and perhaps overseas one day.

Personality Traits
They are fashionistas, fun party animals and love to be the centre of attention. Invite a mookie to an event and they will be an instant hit with all the guests. But don’t let that fool you. During the event, they all vanish into thin air.

Not to say that they always need a crowd to shine. Mookies have an intimate side that love to get personal. They always say just the right thing.

One can choose to own a mookie. However, don’t expect mookies to hang around too long. They may start showing up at your friend’s place or your sister’s place (anyone who’s given them an admiring glance).  Pretty soon, one will be able to raise your own mookie with a little patience and a lot of love.

Some mookies have telepathic qualities and are blessed with a “3rd dimension”. They stand on their own and have made appearances at weddings and gala events. Very social, they dream of going to many high profile events in the future.

Relatives
Mookies also have cousins called “Tweet bags”. Not as outgoing and head turning as the mookie, tweet bags are mysterious and like to keep to themselves. However, at events and parties, tweet bags will open up and divulge their innermost secrets. They’ll drop hints but it does take a bit of work to understand them. It’s fun and challenging of getting to know tweet bags.
